This Time It Will Be Different

Just as so many “investors” get caught in stock market bubbles because they convince themselves that this time it will be different, so do seekers after truth allow themselves to think that this year will be different from all the others without fully understanding the risks and undertaking this journey entails.

How could this time really be different?  How could we, as investors in our selves, finally reach a stage of enlightenment that really holds?  The suggestion here is that perhaps it could be different if we were able to visualize the path ahead and project what our final destination might actually be. If we knew where we were going, the chances of actually getting there would be better.

And where are we headed in the quest for personal transformation?  Hmmm.  The problem may reside more in answering that question than in the efficiency of transformational methods.  It could be that we are not getting to where we want to be because we deny ourselves the vision of what we really want.
