ITP and Greenheart Transforms Book Club
The Greenheart Book Club is expanding to offer a pre-discussion ITP session.
How it works.
- 5:30-6:15pm: ITP Kata (optional)
- 6:15-7:15pm: Greenheart Book Club
More on ITP:
Integral Transformative Practice® (ITP) is a pioneering program for transforming body, mind, heart and soul through comprehensive, long-term practice. Led by senior ITP trainers Barry Robbins and Pam Kramer, the Power of Practice workshop is a direct experience of Integral Transformative Practice, drawn from ancient wisdom and created by human potential pioneers, George Leonard and Michael Murphy (Co-Founder of Esalen Institute). Before the Book Club we will be practicing the Kata (a 40-minute series of mind-body-spirit exercises). This will help us move our body post-8 hours of office work and allow us to ground and center before each book club session.
More on the Book Club:
This isn’t your average book club. Every member reads a different book related to social or personal transformation, consciousness, environmental challenges and solutions, sociology etc… One member per session gives a detailed orientation on the book and its content. A thriving discussion always ensues. If you are not in Chicago, but would like to participate, we can work it out electronically! Email [email protected] and we will set up a Skype and email plan for including you in the book.
Past Books Read in the Club include:
The Bond by Lynne McTaggart
Social Intelligence by Daniel Goleman
The Holographic Universe by Michael Talbot
Train Your Mind, Change Your Brain by Sharon Begley
Transforming Stress by Doc Childre and Deborah Rozman (HeartMath Solution)
Entangled Minds by Dean Radin
