Every third Thursday, Greenheart Transforms presents a workshop topic that focuses on a specific aspect of personal or social transformation. Join Greenheart Transforms Thursday, Sept. 20, for our Eve of the Equinox evening workshop on balancing and centering. Learn to identify your personal center and tipping points through discussion and hands-on activities in this two hour Thursday session.
Chicago guest presenters, Ruth Landis and Adam Shames, will join Emanuel Kuntzelman on finding balance within the body, mind and heart. In this workshop you will:

Explore the tension you collect in gathering and releasing

Discuss what to hold onto, and what to let go in your daily routine

Find balance within your body using music and movement

Understand the weight of karma on your mind and how to let go of the negative and create your positive ripple effects

Meet our Guest Presenters:

RUTH LANDIS is a certified Body-Psychotherapist, certified hypnotherapist, enneagram teacher, and Reiki master, utilizing body/mind techniques, visualization and guided imagery for greater awareness, presence, relaxation, and stress reduction, as well as working with trauma, chronic disease, and anxiety. Ruth has been a private coach for actors and performing artists for over twenty years, as well as a presentation and communication consultant.
ADAM SHAMES is a creativity expert, organizational consultant, speaker and facilitator who specializes in live innovation events. He is also a musician, writer, “Creativity Jam” host and executive director of Poetry Pals, an interfaith non-profit program for kids. Adam is the founder of the Kreativity Network and is adjunct faculty for Depaul University School of New Learning. He is also on the board of Chicago IONS and leads the Cultural Creatives initiative, helping to unite and empower Cultural Creatives throughout Chicago.
